Tanzania, 2013
Directed by SALIM MWANDORO
It’s a 10 minutes 14 seconds documentary that poetically talks about a little bit of history and culture of this adorable Zanzibar island especially the heart “stone town”. The main motto of this film is to inspire the world and those who had no idea what Zanzibar is all about. Zanzibar is full of culture from traditional attires, belief hence the mood and tone of the Swahili speakers is very peaceful as the wind from the Indian ocean. Music plays a universal language that can be found in form of graffiti which revolves through taarab, reggae and hippo music.
Few touches and hooks of storytelling from youngsters brooding and blending waves from graffiti to music as an introduction and a reflection of annual events in stone town chronologically and eventually to state a complete meaning as an inspiration
