The participants of the 6 days Assistant Director Workshop. Facilitated by Gabriele Heberling, a German Director, and organized presented by Ziff 2013.
10 local filmmakers have been introduced to the basic work of assistant director from reading a script the first time until breaking it down.
The workshop led to the shooting of a short film after the breakdown of the script. Each student had to experience the work of being an assistant director while shooting. So every one had the chance of changing the departments on each scene becoming DOP, location manager, doing props, etc ….
