Last year, the ZUKU Lounge was the place to be during ZIFF2013. Things will be even better this year with the move to the picturesque balcony-sights of the new DoubleTree by Hilton in Stonetown. Overlooking the great Indian Ocean the ZUKU lounge will remain for the duration of the festival, every evening from 5pm to 6pm.
The lounge will serve all the best alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks fit for the tired filmmakers and visitors after a whole day of watching films. The lounge will also be serving quick snacks and great coffee. You can also enjoy a local or imported beer or a glass of wine from the large selection that the Bar has to offer.
It’s the place to see and be seen, to meet and greet and network, for all industry stakeholders ranging from film, arts and culture, tourism, social advocacy and even politics. The music is great and it makes for a good break in time for the great evening outdoor viewing of the grand films of the festival at the magnificent Old Fort amphitheatre or Ngome Kongwe.
