We are thrilled to announce the nominees for this year's Sembene Ousmane Film for Development Competition at #ziff edition. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supportive partners, GIZ.

These 17 African short films will compete for a cash prize, with each of the top 3 short films receiving 3000 euros.

The Awards aim to recognize excellence in short film production and promote the creation of new short films, including short documentaries. The winners will be required to utilize the funds to produce a new short film, which will premiere at the next edition of ZIFF.
